Two weeks ago, we were given notice that Garmin experienced an outage. From our understanding they're still working through the issue. Their website has this notice posted:
"We are happy to report that many of the systems and services affected by the recent outage, including Garmin Connect, are returning to operation. Some features still have temporary limitations while all of the data is being processed. We’d like to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding."
We use a data integration platform called HumanAPI to receive data from Garmin, Misfit, Strava and Google Fit. Data from those sources must first be received by HumanAPI, before we can receive the data.
It appears Garmin is slowly coming back online though Garmin hasn't started sending HumanAPI data notifications. Until this happens, we're not able to receive Garmin data just yet. Garmin is actively investigating the issue and will provide an update when they have resolution.
